We wanted to give you a peek behind the curtain for a new cigar from Rocky Patel – Zen by Nish Patel – the cigar that is going to make the cigar industry “Re-Think Connecticut.” Nish is Rocky’s brother, and like Rocky, he’s a road warrior. Nish travels over 200 days a year, visiting retailers and spending time with fans of Rocky Patel cigars. When he’s not on the road, as Executive Vice President of Rocky Patel Premium Cigars, Nish helps oversee Company Operations. Zen by Nish Patel reflects who Nish is, and what he loves about cigars. Zen will be one of the first box pressed cigar in the marketplace with a Connecticut Shade Wrapper, and Nish wants Zen to be known as the cigar that got cigar lovers to “Re-Think Connecticut.”
Zen by Nish Patel will be launching at the upcoming IPCPR show in Las Vegas, and will be available for shipment right after the show. Zen comes in four sizes: Short Robusto (4 x 54), Robusto (5 x 50), Toro (6 x 52), Torpedo (6 1/8 x 52), and will come in boxes of 20. Price points for the cigars range from $6.25-$7.50. Zen is a box pressed cigar with a silky smooth Ecuadorian grown Connecticut wrapper. A solid medium bodied cigar with great balance, flavors consisting of sweet spice, coffee, cedar with a nutty finish.
